Abstract A novel flavonol glycoside has been isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of the stem bark of the Sida rhombifolia. The structure of the new compound has been established as 5, 7-dihydroxy-4′-methoxy flavonol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside based on the spectral data using UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and Mass.
